“Mike provided a fun and entertaining walk through downtown Madison for our late-afternoon Ghost Tour.  Mike’s knowledge on the origins of the buildings and the spooky history involved was a great way for me and my group of four to spend their fall team-building.  Highly recommended!” – Matt Apps

Please join us for a walk around some of downtown Madison’s spookiest (as well as most beautiful and historic) locations. Ghost walks of the Capitol Square are always available by appointment and on our announced public tour nights. The cost is $15 per person. Please call (608)448-6453 to make reservations.

What to expect? Haunted history tours are not like Halloween haunted houses. No rent-a-ghouls have been hired to jump out and startle you. However, if you’re captivated by local folklore, into Wisconsin legend tripping, a student of Madison history, or just interested in sparking your imagination with strange tales about Madison, this tour is for you.

“A co-worker and myself were asked to come up with an idea for a team building exercise for our annual department outing. I had recently heard someone talking about a ghost tour of downtown Madison and we decided that would be something that everyone might enjoy. We didn’t tell our group what our outing was going to be or where, so for a week we sent out daily email clues based on the places we would visit on the Ghost Tour. Everyone had a great time on the tour!  Our group spent time after the tour discussing our fun new haunted history of Madison!  A lot time has been spent getting facts and historical data about Madison, and it was presented in an organized and very witty fashion. Thanks for a great time Madison Ghost Tour!”  – Linda L.
